Quality Policy

The Quality Policy confirms ARPANSA’s commitment to high quality service delivery and describes the responsibilities of management and staff in achieving our quality objectives. The policy guides the development and implementation of the ARPANSA Integrated Management System (IMS) and the application of the IMS to all agency activities. 

Protective Security Policy

ARPANSA’s commitment to protective security will be demonstrated through effective application of the protective security policy framework. ARPANSA will develop and apply a fit for purpose security framework that is compliant to the requirements, relevant and applicable across the agency. ARPANSA is equally committed to utilising our expertise to develop a protective security culture within the agency.

Regulatory Activities Policy

The Regulatory Activities Policy provides an over-arching framework for efficient and effective regulatory management of radiation risks for the purpose of achieving the object of the ARPANS Act; “to protect the health and safety of people, and to protect the environment, from the harmful effects of radiation.”

Work Health and Safety Policy

This policy outlines ARPANSA’s commitment to work health and safety and the means by which the agency will comply with legislative requirements, namely the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.

Determining breaches of the APS Code of Conduct and deciding sanctions

This procedure outlines the process that we undergo in the event of a potential breach to the APS Code of Conduct.
