Processing times
Your payment needs to reach us on or before its due date. You can use Government EasyPay 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Payments appear in your account in approximately 24–48 hours, longer on weekends and public holidays. We’ll process your payment the next business day if you made it:
- after 6 pm Sydney Australia Eastern Standard Time
- on a weekend
or - on a public holiday.
Unavailability of the service
The service may sometimes be unavailable due to technical issues. During these periods if you need to make a payment you should use an alternative payment method (EFT, BPAY).

Payment information that you enter when using this site is processed and stored in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). This Standard has been developed by the PCI Security Standards Council which is an open global forum responsible for the ongoing development, enhancement, storage, dissemination and implementation of security standards for account data protection.

The Reserve Bank of Australia (Reserve Bank) may request the provision of your email address (the Information) via our Government EasyPay card payment site in order to send you a copy of your payment receipt.
This Information is received by the Reserve Bank via our payment gateway service provider, Bambora Australia Pty Ltd.
The Information is of a kind which the Reserve Bank does not usually disclose to persons or organisations outside the Reserve Bank.
The Reserve Bank is unlikely to disclose the Information to overseas recipients.
Individuals are entitled under Australian privacy law in certain circumstances to access, and seek correction of, personal information about them held by the Reserve Bank.
