The Personal Radiation Monitoring Service (PRMS) monitors ionising radiation exposure to workers in fields such as medical, dental, chiropractic, industrial and mining.

We are an Australian based government service which allows users to comply with their radiation licence requirements of all Commonwealth, state and territory regulations.
We have more than 80 years of dosimetry experience working with a range of customers and industries, both national and international.
How does the service work?
Once you are a registered centre:
Step 1. We send you a monitor to wear for a certain period of time.
Step 2. You send your monitor back to us.
Step 3. We assess and report doses at our in-house facility in Victoria.
Step 4. You receive your dose report.
Dose reports are usually issued within two to four weeks of us receiving the monitors. In the event of an emergency, we can report results within hours of receiving the monitors.
How do I sign up as a new centre?
