These Recommendations are designed to provide guidance on the conditions that should be met for the discharge from a hospital or clinic of patients who are undergoing treatment with radioactive substances.
Removal of Annex 4
In January 2015, Annex 4 - Health Effects of Ionizing Radiation and Standards for Control of Exposure, was removed from the electronic edition of RPS 4. For information on the health effects of ionising radiation, refer to RPS F-1 Fundamentals for Protection Against Ionising Radiation (2014).
