Monitor usage

Radon is a radioactive gas that builds up in closed spaces, especially in underground workplaces. Increased exposure to radon is associated with an increased risk of developing lung cancer. Our radon monitor comprises of a PADC plastic plaque enclosed inside a holder to measure average radon concentration. It uses the same technology as the neutron monitor, although the holder is different. It can be used as an area monitor or worn like a personal monitor. A cycle period of up to 12 months is offered.
