About Little Forest legacy site
The Little Forest Legacy Site (LFLS) is a site that was used for the near surface burial of low level radioactive waste. The facility was operational between 1960 and 1968.

Decision on licence application
On Thursday 9 July 2015, the CEO of ARPANSA granted the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) a licence to possess or control the Little Forest Legacy Site.
