ARPANSA closed the Australian Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR) Health Complaints Register in April 2022
The register was first introduced in 2003 to collect reports of health concerns related to possible EMR field exposures in the range of 0‑300 GHz.
Members of the public who believe they have suffered ill-effects because of exposure to EMR were able to submit a report to the register. The de-identified data was presented in statistical summaries published on the ARPANSA website.
Over time, this service has become obsolete due to the expansion of ARPANSA’s Talk to a Scientist program.
The Talk to a Scientist program provides members of the public with an opportunity to discuss concerns and questions relating to electromagnetic radiation exposure and receive advice and information directly from ARPANSA scientists.
